Chris Farnell advises leading Premier League and Football League Clubs, leading sporting and media agents and a number of high profile sporting individuals on a wide variety of matters.
Chris’ practice areas include: Sports, Media & Entertainment. He specialises in image rights, third party ownership issues, player transfers, intellectual property contracts, contract re-negotiations, sponsorship and endorsement contracts, defamation, sports dispute resolution, footballer and agent disputes, doping hearings, regulatory issues, and both contentious and non-contentious intellectual property law.

Chris represented Roberto Martinez in his dispute with Everton FC gaining a record pay-out for his Client and also advising on Roberto Martinez appointment to the Belgian FA and his most recent appointment as manager of the Portuguese National team.

Chris was the lead lawyer on the sale of the football club to the new owners.

Larissa Berry

Larissa is an experienced sports industry professional with a demonstrated 15 year history, having a wide range of skills from working within Stoke City FC and Manchester United FC such as account/athlete management, sponsorship/advertising sales, and VIP hospitality event management.
Previously, Larissa supported the General Counsel at Liverpool FC including assisting with football operations, club secretarial, commercial/player contracts, image rights, and brand protection.
Larissa is also a WBFF Pro-Athlete competing in both the UK and America, alongside having a keen interest in golf, and encouraging more women to take part in the sport.

Elaine has over 25 years’ experience as a Legal Cashier working at Solicitors in Stockport and then Central Manchester, before joining IPS Law over 8 years ago.
Elaine enjoys cooking, walking and spending time with her Grandchildren.
